“The Company” and "Company” means Cropstream, LLC.
“You,” “your,” and “User” as used in this Policy refer to the person or entity that signs up to use Cropstream. If the User is a corporation, company, partnership, or other multiple person entity, the person signing up for Cropstream represents that they are authorized to do so on behalf of such entity.
While using Cropstream, you may provide the following types of information:
“Personal Information”: Personal Information may include your name, your company’s name, address, phone number, email, age, and payment information.
“Ag Data”: Ag Data means various categories of information about your farm/farm-related business and posted in Cropstream via content and message, including:
Land data: tillage, water management, soil fertility, environmental data, geospatial information, and field boundary information.
Agronomic data: seed data, planting data, yield data, disease and pest management data, crop protection data, and crop nutrition data.
“Custom data”: defined by yourself or other Cropstream users such as spray report data, harvest data, and crop production protocols.
“Related data”: various categories of information related to your Ag Data and Custom Data, including but not limited to messages, notes, photos, videos, and geospatial location.
These categories are not exhaustive but provided to inform you of the types of information Cropstream may collect from you. These definitions may change from time-to-time. Ag Data may be manually uploaded by you to Cropstream or automatically uploaded if you have configured automatic uploading through a third party service provider. The Company has no control over how third party service providers use your Ag Data or protect your privacy.
The Company may use your Personal Information only for the following purposes: to record your registration; to customize the advertising and content you see; to fulfill your requests for products and services; to improve the content and overall look and feel of Cropstream apps, website and services; and to contact you, when necessary.
The Company will not share, sell, rent or otherwise distribute your Personal Information with outside parties, except to provide products or services you’ve requested through Cropstream, in response to a validly-issued subpoena or court order, when necessary to exercise our legal rights, upon your request, or to contact you when necessary.
The Company believes that you are the owner of your Ag Data. The Company has created a Data Sharing Agreement that defines Aggregated Data and establishes how your Ag Data may be aggregated by, utilized by, shared with, or transferred to the Company, Trusted Individuals, and other third parties.
The Company may collect and use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the website, track usage patterns, design improvements, and other purposes associated with use of the Cropstream website and other platforms.
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, the Company has established appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the Personal Information, Ag Data, Custom Data, and Related Data collected from you. The Company will notify you if the Company has reason to believe that any of these was unlawfully accessed by a third party.
Upon termination of your Cropstream account for any reason, Cropstream shall retain a copy of your Ag Data for a period of at least ninety (90) days. Custom Data and Related Data shall be retained if submitted to a third party. Any Aggregated Data shall be retained. Your account access will cease upon termination, except for the ability to retrieve your Ag Data consistent with the terms of this Policy.
This Policy is subject to change at any time. In the event of a change in policy, you will be notified upon log in and asked to consent to any changes.
